The Craft Barn Weekly Challenge - Snow/Snowflakes

We've had beautiful late summer weather over the past few days in my neck of the woods so incorporating snow and snowflakes into a project for this week's Craft Barn Challenge has indeed been a challenge! I'm certainly not one of those people who has their Christmas cards all done and dusted before there has been even the slightest hint of winter.

I stamped the image onto a square of white card before colouring it with Distress Inks and pencils and placing it on a frame which had been coloured with Distress Ink. The background was embossed and the sentiment stamped below before attaching it to a mat that had been dusted with Distress Ink. The die-cut snowflake was coloured on the embossed detail and then Stickles glitter applied over the top.

That's one Christmas card completed way, way ahead of my usual schedule but will I be able to find it when the time comes to post it?

Gorgeous card Maggie. I love this snow baby stamp. It's one of my all time fav Christmas stamps. The focal piece looks lovely on the embossed background.
Take care,
Flo x

Such a cute image from CI, love how you coloured it, especially since you've stayed away from the red and green combo, which I am now dreading!
