Lazy, hazy, days of summer

This was the first airing for this stamp. I felt it called for a simple card to give it a relaxed  feel.

I decided after making the first card to cut up the stamp (perhaps that how it was intended to be used). This then gave me room to add the sun.

Ilove these two cards, the stamp, the background and everything about them. I have recently had problems with a new silhouette stamp, I couldn't get an even covering and it comes out blotchy. I have been given some hints on how to solve the problem, but haven't got around to trying them yet. do you have any special hints, Maggie? Your stamping looks just perfect.

Maggie, I just saw this card in the flesh this morning when Glennis brought it to class. It's fabulous - and the colours are richer too in real life. Well done. I love it!
