A is for..... well my choice in the Craft Barn Alpha/Dictionary Challenge was "Author".
I started by brushing my postcard (6" x 4") with Milled Lavender Distress Ink, an under used ink pad in my collection. Then, using the same ink, I stencilled the words and then stamped the main image who I assume are the Bronte Sisters, Jane Austin and Mary Shelley. The figures were masked before stamping the ink blobs and then the pen nibs around the edge. I added a dictionary definition which was computer generated and used a silver pen around the edge to frame the postcard.

What a great word to choose - love your choice of images and overall design!
OK they look a bit fierce but what a great stamp! Lovely illustration with the writing, ink splats and nibs.
Great word choice. When I saw the thumbnail I thought it was ancestor but author is much more inventive. I love the page.
Great word to choose, and love the composition, it all comes together so well.
I would have been by sooner, but late Tuesday night, thunderstorms knocked my power out. To make matters worse, my internet is having a meltdown, and I have to reboot after nearly every person I visit.
What impressed me most about this entry was your choice of words. Very original and a great illustration, too.
Brilliant choice of word to use with the focal stamp and the nibs and ink blots. A great composition x
Love your postcard. The interpretation of your word is great :)
